All Funky Lash Eyelash Glue(s) should only be used for the purposes of affixing false lashes & should only be used externally. If accidentally ingested, please seek immediate medical attention.

Should the adhesive come into direct contact with the eyes, rinse for 15 minutes under clean running water and seek medical attention; should any symptoms or irritation occur.

Adhesives can cause mild skin irritation in some cases. Due to this, Funky Lash strongly advise performing Patch Tests before using adhesive based products.

Anyone with known allergies to any of the ingredients listed above should not use these products. If in doubt, please consult your GP; or seek medical advice before use. Anyone receiving skin treatments, taking long term medication or with sensitive skin should consult their GP before using lash adhesive.

Patch Testing

About Patch Tests

Whether you’re a lash technician, makeup artist or applying strip lashes yourself; you should always perform a Patch Test, pre-application. These quick and easy tests help ensure you don’t experience any unexpected, adverse reactions to your new lashes – or the adhesive products used.

Lash Extensions

There are two main methods of Patch Testing for Eyelash Extensions Glue; both of which are detailed below. Our adhesive manufacturers recommend you perform a simple Patch Test on your client  – that simulates the treatment they’ll be receiving (e.g. using your intended glue), 48 hours before their full application.

Method OneApply Two Lashes on the Outer Corners of the Eye
Apply a very small amount of adhesive & apply two eyelashes to the outer corners of both eyes. Allow 24-48 hours post-application, to assess whether any reaction was experienced. If no adverse side effects were experienced, you should be fine to use the glue(s) you Patch Tested.

Method Two: Apply a Little Glue to the Skin Behind the Ear
Apply a very small drop of your intended adhesive(s) behind the ear; on the lower side. This is a particularly sensitive area of skin, so it makes for a great (& easy) way to test the likelihood of a reaction. Again, allow 24-48 hours post-application to check whether any adverse side effects were experienced and if not – you should be fine to use the glue(s) you Patch Tested.

If any irritation does occur during Patch Testing, rinse the affected area thoroughly with cold water to fully remove all traces of the product from the skin. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.

It is important to note that no Patch Testing can guarantee fully against allergies, as these can develop at any time.
